Wrote a new song last night. Tentative title,
“Little Girl of Grace”

Litte girl where have you gone?
Into the dark of disbelief
There’s a light that beckons you to come on home
Did you think that you’d discover
More than you thought you had known
Find the meaning and the purpose in the cold

What you say do you believe, do you believe,
Do you believe that you are home
Did you dream of, did you wish for, all these things
That you possess and call your own?
Do you wonder do you worry if perhaps
You are now truly just alone?

There are voices in your head
Screaming ‘there is no turning back’
And the demons of despair wish you were dead
But a fading distant memory
Sings of hope where there was none
Some old song about how grace will lead you home

What you say do you believe do you believe
That grace can really lead you home?
For the people you left burning on the road behind
Can grace really atone?
Well does God does He forgive, does He forget
All of the stupid things we’ve done?
What about the things we should have not– and did–
And we knew all along was wrong?

Amazing grace how sweet the sound that saved a wretch like me

I once was lost but now am found was blind but now I see

Thro many dangers toils and snares I have already come
Tis grace hath brought me safe thus far and grace will lead me home.
